I have a daily view of Smeatons Tower, my love for lighthouses & windmills started as a child. On a clear day at the local, the Eddystone lighthouse can be spotted against the watery horizon. I’ve adored this mystical combo of lighthouses, witchcraft & magic. Thanks @CJessCooke

John Smeaton’s most famous project is probably the Eddystone lighthouse, a rock lighthouse 17 miles off the coast of Plymouth. It was a revolutionary design inspired by an oak tree. It's now known as Smeaton's Tower on Plymouth Hoe. #Smeaton300
