The ROH orch making sure Paul Wynne Griffiths got some well-deserved recognition before Act 3 of #ROHTurandot in his last scheduled performance with the company before his retirement at the end of this season. An unbelievably experienced, kind & knowledgable conductor & mentor.

Loved loved loved being a (tiny) part of this. And special thanks to @SmilingLuigi for his mime interpretation of Act 3 as we waited offstage for our cue 😃

Starting our first project of 2023, and practising our mystery vowels for @SmilingLuigi. Looking forward to the concerts with @londonsymphony and @SirSimonRattle on January 11th and 13th!
"If all goes well we won't be singing the piece backwards." Always reassuring to get that possibility ruled out. And looking forward to the piano rehearsal for Katya Kabanova with @SirSimonRattle tomorrow 😃
