Final Fantasy Resonance is pure nostalgia bait. It’s not a FF game anymore than Type-0 is. It uses the same tropes as Dissidia, bringing in past characters for over the top combat with memberberries, people just want a classic ff6-10 style game with new graphics new characters new locations and familiar gameplay, that’s why fable is getting anticipation people want to go back to 2000’s gameplay, Sebby is always right.
