ποΈ Have you ever found yourself doing the very thing you promised yourself you wouldn't do?
The struggle between what we know is right and what we actually do is something every believer faces. Romans 7:15 reminds us that even the Apostle Paul wrestled with this battle.
Romans 7:15 NIV
"I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do. "
In this verse, Paul honestly describes the conflict between His desire to obey God and the reality of his sinful nature. He wants to do what is right, yet he finds himself falling short.
This passage teaches us that the Christian life is not about achieving perfection through our own strength. Rather it reveals our deep need for God's grace and the transforming power of the Holy Spirit. The fact that Paul recognized this struggle shows that conviction is evidence of God's work in our hearts.
When we fail, we should not run from God in shame. Instead we should run to Him in repentance, trusting that Christ provides forgiveness, strength, and victory over sin.

Dear Lord,
Thank You for understanding my weaknesses. When I struggle to do what is right, remind me that Your Grace is sufficient. Help me rely on Your Spirit rather than my own strength, and continue transforming my heart to become more like Christ.
In Jesus Name,
