Wow.
Today's Snout Safe Space was one of those conversations that reminds me exactly why we started this journey.
First and foremost, thank you to everyone who came through and shared their time, stories, experiences, and hearts with us. The honesty in today's space was powerful.
A special thank you to Mama Bo and
@executiveDad1 , aka "Pop's," for holding it down today. Listening to both of you talk about the realities, challenges, victories, and everyday moments of raising and supporting someone on the spectrum was incredibly meaningful.
Last week we missed our space due to power outages in my area, but today felt like we picked right back up where we left off.
Mom, thank you for pouring your heart out today. As a non-verbal autistic founder, I know I wouldn't be half the man I am without your unconditional love, patience, sacrifices, and belief in me. You never gave up on me, even when others doubted what I could become. You have always been my rock, my safe place, and one of my greatest blessings. Everything we are building through
@SnoutZoo and
@SnoutBears is a reflection of the values you taught me.
And Pop's, thank you for coming through and sharing your journey. Hearing about your grandson "little guy's " progress and development was inspiring. Stories like yours remind us why these conversations matter. They remind us that every child develops differently, every journey is unique, and every victory deserves to be celebrated.
What motivates me every day is proving that individuals on the spectrum are capable of far more than what society, labels, or even professionals sometimes expect from us. There is so much hidden potential waiting to be nurtured, supported, and believed in.
That's why these spaces matter.
We need more honest conversations.
We need to make uncomfortable topics comfortable.
We need parents, caregivers, siblings, advocates, and autistic individuals sharing their real experiences.
Because understanding starts with listening.
Education starts with conversation.
And acceptance starts when people feel safe enough to be themselves.
That is what Snout Safe Space is all about.
No judgment.
No masks.
No pretending.
Just real people, real stories, and real support.
Thank you all for being part of this family.
We'll see you next Wednesday. 💙🐾
