Review playing has begun. I'm 4hrs into Destiny 2 Edge of Fate and so far everything outside of some weapons is pretty dog shit. I really dislike this new armor system. I'm gonna build into melee and super and not care about the rest.

Oh, I don't know. Maybe because their entire studio got creativity, presentation, AND gameplay mogged by a micro-dlc made by people with less resources and less experience?
Maybe because, even after all this time, people still remember Rise of Iron as one of the franchise's best dlcs, and they won't stop asking for it to come back?
For Bungie, Rise of Iron is the way-out-of-your-league ex that people won't stop reminding you about.
It's no wonder that they hate it.

With Destiny 2 ending I thought about how I could send off my own party. So key sites sell the Edge of Fate and Renegades dirt cheap with Bungie getting nothing. Thus I'll be reviewing the awful final two DLC of Destiny 2 to give a full final review at the end of this bad sequel.

I would only play D2 ever again if they rereleased the Faction Ornaments. Just to get Dead Orbit and walk away. They made a peak Titan Helmet and just let it get lost to time.

Destiny 2 is a sequel in name only. The closest we ever came to it being a worthwhile sequel was Forsaken. People give the most mediocre DLCs all the praise in the world that they don't deserve. Literally everything about D2, outside a handful of highlights, is worse than D1.

My old is a maybe. I haven't been in communication with them since the CoO days? That's where I cut personal ties to the studio. So whether any I talked to are still there are not is an unknown. I still have my painting though they gave me.

Do I want a Destiny 3? Yes.
Do I want it from Bungie? Hell No.
Bungie destroyed everything I loved through the lifespan of Destiny 2. I don't trust them to ever make a half decent Destiny when they couldn't even make a good Marathon.
