Colors: At the time of writing this, there are 5 options available: anodized aluminum in Black, Silver, White, and Red, along with an Ice-Clear PC version. Material: The version I received is the silver anodized aluminum with carbon fiber inserts. The build quality feels solid and premium with a nice weight to it. The edges are smooth all around, and the rubber feet do a great job keeping it from sliding on the desk. There are also rubber contact points on the front to help prevent scratches on your keyboard. Design: The split design is what immediately caught my attention. Being able to position each side independently makes it easy to find a comfortable position for both typing and gaming. It also works well with most keyboard layouts, unlike traditional wrist rests that require a specific size match. The only layout I wouldn’t recommend this for is a full size 100% keyboard. Customization: The interchangeable inserts are a really cool touch. I’m a huge fan of carbon fiber, so I’m glad that was an option. Luminkey also offers a dragon scale texture and a plain black insert if you want something more minimal. If you ever want to switch styles later on, the inserts can be purchased separately for $15 USD each. One thing I’d love to see in the future is a custom upload option where users could create their own insert designs. That being said you could 3D print your own design if you have the ability to do so. Overall, this is a clean and premium feeling palm rest. I’m usually not someone who uses palm rests, but after trying this one, I can definitely say it made typing and gaming a little more comfortable.
