Capitulation was one of the best things to ever happen to Crypto Twitter. For a period of time it felt like the entire industry was inside those spaces. And because of that it also became the most targeted thing I’ve ever seen on this platform. Coordinated cancellations, mass reports, nonstop attacks from people who hated seeing attention concentrated somewhere they couldn’t control. Instead of protecting one of the biggest cultural drivers on the app, Twitter allowed it to get torn apart. Now there are barely any large organic spaces left and anytime someone starts building one again, the same cycle repeats itself. Crypto Twitter lost a huge piece of what made it fun.
