The total number of active mainstream blockchain developers dropped from 3,700 to 1,600.

Fundamentals didn't change. Royalties were never a revenue stream for many utility NFT projects because they were businesses disguised as NFT projects.

Now it's more clear than ever who will make it and who won't. The advantage of volumes turning sour after 1yr of millions in trading is you get to separate the good & profitable from the scams and ponzis.
Fundamentals didn't change, most left will probably win in the long run.
