๐ญ Mapping the Solana network: geo verification, decentralization metrics, infrastructure. Open source github.com/SolyaUk/sonda. Work in progress. By @SolyaOS
SONDA is a Solana network analytics tool built by the Solya validator @SolyaOS.
It cross-verifies validator geolocation from 4 independent sources, calculates decentralization metrics and maps infrastructure across the full network.
Open source, work in progress.
Alpenglow community cluster is now on sonda.network.
The 4th cluster joins mainnet, testnet, devnet on the same dashboard. Validators, RPC reachability, features, software versions. Same lens, four networks. ๐งต
Honest about Alpenglow: these numbers are mostly for fun.
It's a testbed with regenesis events and short epochs. A Nakamoto of 4 ASNs means little when the cluster restarts.
But comparing across 4 clusters - that's the actual value.
Try it: sonda.network. Cluster switcher in the top right. Pick alpenglow, then mainnet.
Built by @SolyaOS validator team. Open source, free, attribution appreciated.
This is SONDA right now. Nice to have all of this at a glance. Jito BAM just crossed 30% of stake, testnet validators are adopting 4.0.0, and the path to better decentralization is still long. Plenty I still want to add to sonda.network, especially for validator and ASN choices.
Shipped SONDA for Colosseum Frontier.
A live, public dashboard for the Solana network. Where validators run, the health of infrastructure layers (DoubleZero, Jito BAM, endpoints), and decentralization across mainnet, testnet, and devnet.
sonda.network
SONDA is officially submitted to the @colosseum Frontier Hackathon (April 6 - May 11).
The goal for the next five weeks: ship the full public dashboard. Validator pages, decentralization metrics, infrastructure map, live data updates.
Work in progress, building in public.
sonda.network
Most Solana analytics tools show you stake distribution and uptime.
SONDA goes further: it cross-verifies the location of every validator from 4 independent geo sources, flags discrepancies, and calculates how concentrated the network actually is by country, ASN, and city.
Because a map built on wrong data gives false confidence.
