Some new teasers for Microvaders Caravan, releasing as a digital ROM next week for the #AtariLynx. Three minutes to defeat seven waves of enemies.
First one shows how the bomb explosion causes a flash on the planetoid, but only if the explosion is close enough.
Second one shows a very close call which I was lucky to survive. 😉

Doing some more work on Microvaders Caravan today. Current focus is a bonus screen after the victory screen, and also tweaking achievements and confirming they are... well... achievable. 😁
Some achievements carry over from the original game, and some are new! Can you collect them all?

Microvaders Caravan will be released digitally in the next few weeks, so even fans without a Lynx can enjoy it! Then there will be a cartridge-only release in August 2026.

Green Land is a very cool game; I have played it many hours myself. I love the tile-laying "build your city" mechanics. The games are short, so you always feel like "I know I could do better with one more try..."

It took almost three months and multiple appeals, but in the end USPS did approve my claim. Happy ending after all!

Hey @USPS @USPSHelp, can you please approve my claim?
I brought the crushed item to my local Post Office for evaluation, but I don't have the original shipping container. The customer recycled the shipping container before he sent the crushed item back to me (in a new package, of course). USPS has never asked for the original shipping container before, so it didn't occur to either of us to hang on to it.
I have however provided plenty of photos showing the severe damage to both the shipping container and the item inside.
I ship over a thousand packages with USPS each year. Most go through just fine. But in this case, it's very frustrating to not only have a crushed item delivered to a customer, but then have the insurance claim denied as well.
Can you please help?

Throwback newsletter message from 2009. Still rings true today, as we look forward to JagFest 2026!

Today is the 10th anniversary of JagFest '99. It wasn't the first JagFest, and it (thankfully! ) wasn't the last. But it was a great event I will always look back on fondly. In many ways, it was the "kickoff" event for Songbird Productions which itself had only been in existence for a few months. Who could have known back then how vocal and faithful Lynx and Jaguar fans would remain over the years?
I am so grateful to all of the customers and fans for keeping the flame alive for these cherished systems. It's been amazing to see other hobby developers rise to the challenge as well, and deliver quality games for Atari systems all the way through 2009.
The opportunity to meet fellow fans at JagFest '99 will always be a highlight of that event. In retrospect, it's very humbling that so many people would travel so far to make that tiny event in Rochester, MN, a success: Kevin M., Scott W., Clay H., Dan L., Dan I., Jason D., Pat F., Max, Gary, and so many more. I had a blast watching people play games and doing interviews on my state-of-the- art 8mm camcorder (not just 8, it was Super-8!), and I think I managed to squeeze in a few games myself. There was a network of at least 4 Lynxes playing games like Checkered Flag, and of course Clay defeated all challengers on the Zero 5 tournament.
Thanks to everyone who has remained a Lynx or Jaguar fan over the years, and special thanks to everyone who made JagFest '99 a success. You have my respect and my thanks!
