I wouldn’t be where I am today without my lgbtq community 💋🌈
It started when I was 14 yrs old modeling at Studio 54. I was modeling but still felt like an ugly duckling. I was inspired by the gay environment I found myself in. I felt seen and listened to about my anxieties.
I finally made the move to NYC to attend The Fashion Institute of Technology and once again with 3 gay roommates in Chelsea my self esteem was lifted immensely by their support, sense of self, bravery and not to mention fashion sense.
Pride is about visibility, individuality, and community. Being free to be yourself is my wish for every young person I meet, spend time with and influence.
Today and every day, I celebrate and support LGBTQ people, along with the creatives, performers, entrepreneurs, and artists whose talent, courage, and creativity continue to shape culture, inspire us all, and make the world a more beautiful place despite the challenges.
