For far too long the Arab world fed to the Muslims hatred for Israel. #Antizionism— a dangerous outcome- that negates the very existence of a nation state for a people. It is wrong and must be addressed. @somalilandmfa must join other Arab nations like @UAE to engage in a robust plan to educate the Muslims on why. @SecRubio @IsraelinIndia

#RecognizingEachOther- For years, a generation was taught to say- “No Israel.”Not coexistence. Not dialogue. Not peace.Just rejection. Arab leaders, Islamist movements, and Hamas helped cultivate a culture where hatred became normalized, where Jews and Israelis were reduced to symbols instead of human beings. And now we are living with the consequences. Words matter.Narratives matter. The chants we repeat matter. When children grow up hearing only rage, glorified resistance, and dehumanization, it shapes hearts and minds for generations. Hate does not stay contained. It spreads across campuses, streets, communities, and families. Pain matters too. Palestinian pain matters.Israeli pain matters. If we truly want a future for Palestinians and Israelis, then we must have the courage to reject the politics of hatred and build a culture rooted in dignity, accountability, coexistence, and truth. Peace begins when we stop teaching people who to hate. @AIHighlight @visegrad24 @elonmusk @nypost @SecRubio @SeinfeldTV

On this day in 1967, the Six-Day War began. Egypt, Syria, and Jordan, backed by the Soviet Union, Iraq, Algeria, Kuwait, and Sudan, openly called for Israel’s destruction and massed troops along its borders. Facing an existential threat with no allies, Israel launched a preemptive strike against Egyptian and Syrian air forces, then engaged their ground forces on its southern and northern fronts. A third front opened when Jordan joined the war. ( Israel told Jordan to stay out of the conflict, but Jordan nevertheless attacked.) In six days, Israel defeated the invading armies and captured the Sinai Peninsula, Gaza Strip, Golan Heights, and Judea and Samaria, while reunifying Jerusalem. Israel offered to return most of the captured territory in exchange for peace, but the Arab states refused. Peace treaties were later signed with Egypt (1979) and Jordan (1994). In November 1967, the UN Security Council adopted Resolution 242, which called for a land-for-peace framework. It became the foundation for all subsequent Israeli-Palestinian peace efforts, all of which have been rejected by Palestinian leadership. A Rare Moment of U.S. Clarity (Adapted from: the Jewish Insider’s “U.S. quietly advances postwar Gaza plan”) After months of disjointed policy, U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Mike Waltz finally acknowledged: Gaza has no future under armed authoritarian rule. In an interview with the Jewish Insider, Waltz vowed that Hamas “will never again rule Gaza,” whether as a result of “diplomatic action or military action.” We rarely see this level of salience regarding Gaza from U.S. officials. President Trump’s Board of Peace has the incredibly daunting task of governing and rebuilding postwar Gaza. Waltz remains bullish that Gaza can be peacefully reconstituted, and it's refreshing to see a US diplomat acknowledge that Hamas’s grip on power is a major impasse to the diplomatic process. Hamas, Waltz argued, will not put down its arms unless compelled to do so: “I wouldn’t expect a terrorist organization like them to just roll over and hand over everybody, but once we’ve cut off any other path for them, then I think they have no other choice.” Over the last few months, American bureaucrats have been quietly working in the background of the Iran conflict to make Trump’s Peace Board a fully functional entity. Nickolay Mladenov, current director-general of the Board of Peace, has laid out a demilitarization plan to decommission Hamas weapons. And now, “Hamas has a choice to make. Those negotiations are going on as we speak,” Waltz told the Jewish Insider. With peace council members that include Türkiye, Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and the UAE, Hamas is deeply isolated. The deck is now stacked against Hamas, Waltz argued. “They really have no option,” said Waltz. “They’re either going to do this the easy way or the hard way. And let’s all pray they do it the easy way.” “I’m going to remain optimistic, as horrific an organization that Hamas is.” — Mike Waltz.

#IsraelDayParade- “Real peace is never built through fantasies of elimination. It is built when two peoples recognize they are destined to share the land and must find a way to live alongside one another with dignity and security. Israel is fighting wars on multiple fronts. Jewish communities around the world are experiencing fear, isolation, and growing hostility. This is precisely the moment when friendships matter most.” @IsraelinNewYork @NYCMayor blogs.timesofisrael.com/why-…

#IsraelParade- Why NewYork Muslims must march in solidarity… Israel is fighting wars on multiple fronts. Jewish communities around the world are experiencing fear, isolation, and growing hostility. This is precisely the moment when friendships matter most. For the first time, Muslims will march in the Israel Day Parade in New York. And we should. Because peace is not built by standing apart. It is built by showing up. At a time when the world is becoming more polarized, when antisemitism and hatred are rising, and when too many voices seek division, Muslims marching alongside Jewish communities sends a powerful message: we refuse hate, and we refuse separation. Some political leaders have chosen not to march. That is their decision. But leadership is not only about politics — it is about courage, bridge-building, and standing with communities in difficult times. As Muslims, we can disagree on politics while still standing for humanity, coexistence, dialogue, and peace. Marching together does not erase Palestinian suffering, nor does it erase Jewish pain. It affirms that our futures are interconnected. We will promote unity with our Jewish neighbors. We will reject extremism and hatred. And we will continue building relationships rooted in dignity, trust, and peace. History is not changed by those who stay silent on the sidelines. It is changed by those willing to walk together. @LeoTerrellDOJ @IsraelinNewYork @CLARITyCoaltion

#Jihad - From Palestine to Pakistan, there is something deeply broken in the Muslim world. A powerful analysis by Friend and colleague @ColdBrief “After investigating 86 government-approved textbooks across Punjab, Sindh, and the Federal Directorate, the study exposed a deeply unsettling reality. Historical distortion, religious exclusivism, and aggressive nationalistic messaging are systematically baked into everything from social studies and Urdu to geography and Islamic education. The report highlights how India is routinely painted as an existential, permanent threat. Meanwhile, discussions regarding Jews and Israel rely heavily on hostile stereotypes, classical antisemitic tropes, and highly selective historical narratives. Furthermore, the concept of jihad is frequently framed not as an internal spiritual struggle, but as a noble, militaristic obligation, with virtually zero discussion about the human cost of violence or extremism.” @anuradisanayake @MFA_SriLanka @ZahackTanvir @AdityaRajKaul @OIC_OCI @SecRubio millichronicle.com/2026/05/6…

#Eid UL Adha is meant to teach devotion, compassion, and sacrifice. But perhaps the practice of animal slaughter itself deserves deeper reflection in the modern world — especially when children are exposed to scenes of blood and killing at a very young age. In Gaza recently, this simulation involving children slaughtering a sheep circulated online. Blood pouring, cheering, imitation of violence — it was deeply disturbing. Whatever one’s politics, children should not be conditioned to normalize killing as spectacle. Faith should nurture mercy, tenderness, and reverence for life. If an act hardens young hearts or desensitizes little minds to suffering, we should have the courage to ask difficult questions about how traditions are practiced today. Compassion must remain at the center of every religion.
How can I wish you Eid al-Adha (Bakrid). One of the street of Bangladesh after slaughtering millions of innocent animals If you must make a sacrifice for the sake of Allah, sacrifice your radicalism. Sacrifice your attitude towards women. Sacrifice your hate towards non muslims.
