One of the coolest moments I’ve ever experienced as a fan was Corum scoring the TD after Zak’s injury. I couldn’t even see him flash the 65, but I immediately knew it was for him. Hail 💙💛
"It was incredible, I've never seen anything like it in my career." @joelklatt shares the emotional moment when thousands of @UMichFootball fans loudly chanted "Let's go Zak" as @zak_zinter was carted off the field during an injury timeout ❤️6️⃣5️⃣

Friends, who knows of grants to apply for to pay for teachers to attend conferences? #NCTE2023 was amazing, but I can’t afford it. (I’ve only been to NCTE twice due to cost). Any ideas or resources would be appreciated!

My brilliant friend @english_roy wrote this about how admin can help teachers during a time when teachers are leaving in droves. It’s really quite simple:

We are DROWNING! Send help!
Continuing to speak this into the void that no one seems to be paying attention to: teachers are crumbling under unrealistic expectations. Almost 100% of learning falls to teachers with very little accountability for students. It’s a broken system. Send help.

Grateful to have administrators who trust
A simple plan to vastly improving learning outcomes for students: Trust teachers* - Trust teachers to teach - Trust teachers to learn - Trust teachers to lead (*This includes adequate resources, generous planning time, and administrative support.)

There's a lot to celebrate in the AP Lit results this year. Students showed us that they most certainly can negotiate challenging and sophisticated texts, can analyze, and can write, especially when they’re guided by committed teachers who believe in their potential. #LitMatters!
The 2023 AP English Literature & Composition scores: 5: 15%; 4: 28%; 3: 34%; 2: 14%; 1: 9%.
