I’m not really digging on this show or what they’ve shown so far. But the $500k is very clearly a stretch goal and would cover 4 episodes
$500k for 4 episodes of animation plus kickstarter fees and whatever other merch costs is pretty reasonable with how expensive animation is

Simple, dvd sales used to save movies like this
Not everything will be a box office hit and if people aren’t willing to buy movies in that manner this will just happen for a lot of good movies unfortunately

I just don't get it. Almost everyone who watched Masters of the Universe enjoyed the movie. Many people went to see it several times. Word of mouth is great. So how can this still be considered a bomb?

Bc the game is called God of War, not Goddess of War.
And there are plenty of games with female protagonists we love and care about them and if they change them we would be mad,The difference is that this title was built around one character whose story we’ve followed for years. So yeah, making him no longer the playable character is obviously going to upset people.
