The coat is likely not only a reference to the laboratory aesthetic, but also a reference to Maison Margiela’s signature white lab coat motif that is worn by employees.
This reference makes sense given that Ken released “Margiela” late last year, and he’s also been wearing the brand a lot lately as well.
