The first batch of warning notices have been issued for vehicles that continue to breach the restriction in place for the Pedestrian Zone in Manchester St and George St. If repeated then they will be issued with a Penalty Charge £70. Signs are in place and clear. @lutoncouncil

Cllr Agbley did a Ward Walk in Park Town (including Cutenhoe Road) this morning speaking to residents and picking up new casework. He also took the opportunity to ensure previously reported casework relating to anti-social behaviour was also dealt with.

And we’re off … the first passengers have ridden the Luton DART today! 🚝
While the system is not yet open, we are extremely excited to be running the shuttle on a reduced and flexible timetable.

Drivers don’t always stick to restrictions in these zones, which is dangerous for pedestrians🚶

Only commercial vehicles over 3.5 tonnes can enter for loading/unloading between 10am-6pm🚛
From today, we have the powers to enforce these rules
