After just six months of consistent running, I can say this with total confidence: My mind is infinitely calmer at the finish line than when I start. It’s filled a void I didn’t even realize was there, and that satisfaction is pure gold.

Watching TV in 2026 sucks. It takes forever to launch the right streaming app, log in with yet another password, and hunt around for what you want to watch—there’s no simple channel guide anymore. Everything is buried behind clunky menus. Non stop ads. Sports end at 12am. Madness.

One of the most stressful weeks of work in recent memory. Once my run starts my brain stops focusing on my stress and worry and immediately calms down. It’s like nothing else exists while I’m running. It’s magic.

I would have rather put Tabasco in my eyes than run today—until I was about 5 minutes in. Running is hard but it makes my life easier. It helps me work through emotions and gives me time to process my day. Grateful.

Keeping my efforts ~2 minutes slower than my goal pace for May’s 10k race. First run in Novablast—I’m a big fan. They are very easy to workout in.

Been running a lot in preparation for my May 10k. Today’s schedule dictated today’s workout: 20 minutes of interval training. Not a long effort, but I definitely worked hard. Keep making deposits no matter how small they are, they add up.

60 minute controlled pace with 12 minutes of hills. It’s so much easier for me to deal with other people’s sh*t after I sweat out my daily frustrations..

Sunday’s moving meditation: Tackled 4.75 miles in 50 minutes, breaking it into two segments with a short walk in between. I once viewed those pauses as weakness, but now I see the wisdom—staying healthy for race day beats grinding every workout just to prove what I already know I can do.

I assure you my pace was not nearly as fast as it says. Watches are useless gauging pace on treadmills. Regardless, another solid 45 minute run is in the books. Slow miles are better than no miles.

Pro tip from a titanium elite member: When corporate travel brings you to the murder capital of the state you’re in, treadmill miles are highly recommended.

Ending a run with some strides is underrated! Very grateful to be feeling strong.

Trying to keep my runs ~2 minutes slower than my goal pace time for many of my efforts. The feeling of accomplishment you get after a nice run is quite an ego boost.

Started Monday with a 5 mile outdoor walk and ended with an easy 5k on the treadmill. Capped my HR @ 135 to keep myself honest. Keep your easy runs easy!

Sunday run day but for various reasons (laziness) I didn’t t feel like going. Yet another reason that having a race to train for is so important to me. Im not going to embarrass my future self, so today I run…will start slowly increasing weekly mileage again. 😀

Strava called this a massive run. I call it inflated metrics via Apple Watch on a treadmill. Regardless, it does feel good to be told you closed your move ring before 6am.

Didn’t want to run but then I realized you can’t chase endorphins from the couch…

Going with a 2 days on 1 day off split for now. Today’s workout was a 45 minute jog/walk combo followed by a 3.5 mile walk. Happy Friday!

Doing the run/walk thing for the first couple of weeks. When I first started running I looked at the run walk combo as weakness, but I’ve learned a lot since then. Slow building > no building

I’ve been silently recovering from illness and injury for ~6 weeks, jealously watching y’all workout. I’m finally recovered and ready to run. I’m 95 days out from my first 10k. My training plan is set. 45 minute walk/jog to get things started! So grateful for my health.

I was afraid I would lose all my cardio fitness over the last few weeks that I’ve had to rest, but after jogging 1.5 miles of this 5k I felt incredible! Capped myself at 12 min jog and never ran more than 3/4 mile to start. No more dumb injuries. I’m back.
