We found out at yesterday’s Finance Committee that Labour-run @wandbc now plans:
📈borrowing of at least *£1.9 billion*
📉running down inherited reserves by at least £150m
And to stop us asking questions, Labour moved a motion to shut down the debate and end the meeting early!

Listening to every @WandsworthLab Councillor declare themselves as being AGAINST a Council Tax cut this evening was hard to hear – they stood on a manifesto promising to cut taxes. They lied. No wonder they decided to end the meeting early. #costoflabour
