If anyone knew him well/interacted with him, and is interested in his obituary, send a message and I'll send you the link. He was a wonderful husband and father, gone far too soon at age 42. Thank you all for your kind and encouraging words. He is missed so dearly. -Bekah

Hi, everyone. For those of you who don’t know, Joe passed away a few weeks ago after a year-long battle with cancer. Thank you to everyone who followed him, was friends with him, etc. He treasured his online community. - Bekah (Joe’s wife)

not going to say the name because i like the guy but pretty popular creator got like 1k likes on a whole essay talking about how bad it is that this space glorifies celebrities and then i went and searched on his profile and there's like a dozen posts glazing big name vc investors, as a reason to be bullish on something think about it... it's all the same thing. it's all just social proof. we're in a space where name association drives valuation. and arguably vcs have dumped more on your head tops than any celebrity 😂

almost all influencers in crypto are popular because they serve a financial purpose. there’s an implicit “hey, i follow you because im into crypto and im into crypto because i want to make money”. over time people that stray too far away from the trenches become out of touch and wholly irrelevant. for example, a prolific nft trader from 2021 might be less relevant than a memecoin trader today. people no longer relate to the whales of yesterday. the game is changing in front of everyone's eyes. the fine line, is finding a way to teach people how to teach themselves vs. attracting an audience that relies upon your decision making to replace their own. for example, tweeting low mcap tickers is an extremely volatile game. in fact, the more of a hot streak you are on, the more likely you are to wreck your audience on the one that you get wrong (because they will size larger after every hit). the truth is that the only skill in this industry that matters is constantly increasing your own ability to pattern match & make your own decisions.

Biden is down 1.1 in WI, 0.1 in MI, and 1.8 in PA, according 538. If the error is the same as '22, he would win by 1.2 in WI, 5.7 in MI, and 3.6 in PA. Is the poll error going to be the same as '22? Probably not. But it's not a stretch to see how Biden wins w/ current polls.

phew. that was close. Americans were at risk of having dangerous and unfair levels of customer satisfaction. thankfully, we’re safe from the EVs that everyone wants and are free to buy Teslas that have to be recalled every other week
For years, the Chinese government has cheated by pouring money into Chinese companies which then dump cheap products onto the market, hurting competitors who play by the rules. I’m announcing tariffs that will ensure American workers are not held back by unfair trade practices.
