The Space Force Association (SFA) is the only nonprofit dedicated to educating, supporting, and connecting the public with the mission of the U.S. Space Force.
A significant portion of the world's internet traffic passes through satellites. The Space Force exists specifically to protect access to that. You're probably reading this on the thing they're defending.
Jennifer Saltzman has spent 30 years watching the Space Force be built from the ground up, and she's been one of its loudest advocates the whole way.
Spouses running food pantries. Guardians still being asked "is that real?" A piece of chocolate kept for two years. Listen below:
The U.S. Space Force provides GPS, free of charge, to everyone on earth... and still less 10% of people know it exists. If you think you don't rely on space, try taking a road trip without it.
66 locations across 26 states competed to become the permanent home of @US_SpaceCom .
Huntsville ranked #1 in every phase of the evaluation.
Here's why that result wasn't a surprise.
The community has invested heavily in preparation: $600M in K-12 school improvements, $400M in transportation, $200M in healthcare expansion, specifically to support the workforce this move will bring.
Your phone runs on space infrastructure owned by the U.S. Space Force, and provided free to the world. SFA CEO Damon Feltman was on WAFF News in Huntsville this morning talking about what that means, and what U.S. Space Command's move to Redstone Arsenal actually looks like.

On April 29, it opened its first operational facility there, a true active intelligence element.
Two organizations. Two distinct jobs. Both essential to how the U.S. operates in space.
SFA supports the people in both. And we're watching this transition closely. 👀
