We are experts in nature data. We use the scientific expertise of our team, satellite data and AI to accurately map landcover and biomass around the world.
In this week's episode of our Nature-based Solutions podcast, expert Christopher Stephenson explains their origins, how they work and his predictions for their growth as we head towards 2030.

A new study by @EverlandEarth has revealed just how effective REDD is.
The study reviewed data from 53 REDD projects across 7 countries; this is 80% of active REDD projects by area for the period studied, 2002-2022. Read the key findings here: buff.ly/45MIGUA.

In 2018 I wrote a review paper in Nature on the impact of climate change on tropical forests (nature.com/articles/s41586-0β¦, subscription-free rdcu.be/3vsw)
I said that tropical forests were once a carbon sink, reducing climate change, but would soon be a carbon source 1/5

Excited to be hosting a workshop in Nairobi today on @SpaceIntell's work to create country-level forest and forest change maps of Kenya. This is for @VerraStandards new Consolidated REDD Methodology, with the baselines we produce ultimately applied to all REDD projects in Kenya.

This biodiversity risk layer forms part of a suite of layers named EarthMapper, developed by Space Intelligence to populate their βNBS Insights Platformβ which helps project developers and their funders make decisions about where to site Nature Based Solutions (NBS) projects.
Designed for the fast-growing carbon markets, the Advanced REDD and Nature Intelligence (ARNI) platform will integrate advanced AI models which analyse satellite data to track changes in the worldβs forests, based on decades of research by the Space Intelligence science team.
Our Chief Scientist @EdMitchard will be speaking at the @ArgusMedia Carbon Markets & Regulation Conference in Lisbon this Friday, July 7 to discuss how the latest developments in science and technology can support integrity and transparency in the #carbonmarkets.
