@SpacLab had 3 abstracts accepted to @CompleNet and we’re looking forward to it. However, the students decided not to go when they realized it would fall on April 25th. I hope all attendees have a great time and the opportunity to learn about why we could not be there today.

Congratulations to @almeida_d_c for his MSc defense in #DataScience @FC_UL! With @mjoanasa @CPesquita, David built a large dataset of news, tweets, online searches and looked at salience of different topics (science, politics, climate...) from year -1 to year 1 of #COVID19

He found that salience can vary greatly between fora raising interesting questions on current salience metrics. Is it enough to look at only one source?
