DEMON’S BACK😈⚾️
Edward Cabrera o 4.5 Strikeouts (-105)
❤️ IF TAILING!
-Cabrera returned from injury last start on 6/5, throwing 80 pitches and going 3.2 IP. He's had a full 5 days of rest since and should be good to go 5 IP today in Colorado. I vividly remember back in '24 when we backed him on the road and he K'd 8 batters.
-Stuff looked good in his first game back, fanning 6 Giants who have quietly been one of the lowest K% teams in the league over the L2 weeks, impressive despite the inefficient inning. Good spot for Cabrera to settle in a bit here.
-With a 15.5 PO line favored under at -150, the books and myself are expecting 5 IP out of Cabrera today, with this matchup against the Rockies i'll take 1K/inning anyday, especially with Cabrera being a ~9K/9 guy at his worse.
-5 batters in this lineup have a high K% on paper, and 7 batters in this lineup have an above average chase rate. Cabrera will need this to take advantage of his changeup, sinker, curveball dominant pitch mix. Let's ride!
