Artists: We receive ideas. We do not quite know where they come form - only that they come to us. And we are lucky. That is why I think it is a little bit sacrilegious not to work.
1️⃣ ask questions without feeling scared
2️⃣ feel ok about not being perfect
3️⃣ not be afraid to lose an opportunity (another one will come)
4️⃣ stop being worried that people will perceive us as being difficult if we have boundaries and conditions and want to be paid fairly
Tell us we’re not alone in the struggle with written components of #art applications! If you want to see an example of one of our proposals check out this post! bit.ly/3BcHIVq#ArtistOnTwitter
Artists: When it comes to your work, use whatever works for you: Materials, media, platforms, scale, tools, techniques, colors. delivery mechanisms, old models or new ones - use it. Beauty is what works.
