Once our new website goes live, so will the quarterly IGD Awards. The main awards will remain panel-selected, and we’re also introducing a third award: IGD & Publishers’ Choice. This off-panel award will recognise a solo developer or team whose game we’ve showcased, interviewed, or worked with as a platform or publisher, acknowledging their efforts as we’ve followed or supported their journey closely. There will only be two awards per quarter for this type and you could still get one from our on-panel awards too. We’re also in talks with potential sponsors to help support and further grow the awards, as it is totally self funded at the moment. Stay tuned on that.
