2023 Lucas High School grad Corbin Toms was board-approved to become his alma mater's next head varsity boys basketball coach. Toms was an All-Ohio hooper during his playing career. He served as interim coach for the latter part of the 2024-25 season.

One of the best coaches I’ve had, and inspiration to everyone he connected with. Many of us as players call you Coach Lash, but deep down you were more of a grandpa that loved on us. Still the only coach I know to put a basketball team in a baseball tourney.. and win! #Dawgs❤️
