It is impossible to view Tulsi Gabbard as anything other than a Russian asset after her persistent lies regarding ’biological labs’ in Ukraine. By spreading debunked Kremlin conspiracy theories, she has once again directly compromised Western security to boost Moscow's information war. Gabbard knows the exact nature of the research taking place in Ukraine, making her public statements deeply deceptive. The facilities she targeted are standard BSL-3 diagnostic laboratories, which are common worldwide for managing routine but serious illnesses. Work in a BSL-3 lab is strictly regulated, but it remains a foundational part of global civilian health infrastructure aimed at treating known diseases. She intentionally blurred the lines to confuse the public about BSL-4 labs, which are the only facilities equipped to handle entirely untreatable, lethal bio-agents. A BSL-4 lab requires maximum engineering controls, including a dedicated, non-recirculating air supply, extensive structural reinforcement, and personnel in positive-pressure suits. By singling out Ukraine and pretending its basic BSL-3 public health centers are part of a dangerous biological warfare program, Gabbard gave a veneer of credibility to Russia's wildest fabrications. She willfully chose to ignore the facts in order to validate a hostile nation's propaganda campaign during a genocide. Her actions represent a fundamental betrayal of national trust, and she deserves to be legally prosecuted for treason

🇵🇹 FORAM AO LUXEMBURGO E ESQUECERAM-SE DO PAÍS QUE DEIXARAM PARA TRÁS ✍️ Mariana Leitão no DN O Presidente da República e o Primeiro-Ministro foram ao Luxemburgo comemorar o 10 de Junho. Encontraram-se com a maior comunidade portuguesa fora de Portugal e fizeram o que os políticos portugueses fazem sempre que encontram emigrantes - pediram que voltassem. Mas esqueceram-se de dizer o que Portugal tem para oferecer para o seu regresso, além do bom tempo e da gastronomia.  Emigrar não é fácil. Ninguém faz as malas de boa vontade para deixar a família, os amigos, a terra e a sua língua. É uma decisão que custa e, ainda assim, todos os anos, milhares de portugueses fazem essa escolha. Fazem-na porque o país que os viu nascer não consegue pagar as suas capacidades.  O salário mínimo bruto anual no Luxemburgo ronda os 32 mil euros. Em Portugal ronda os 12 mil euros. O salário médio bruto anual português anda pelos 25 mil euros. No Luxemburgo, supera os 80 mil. Já do lado dos impostos, o Estado português tributa à taxa máxima de 48% quem ultrapassa os 86 mil euros anuais. No Luxemburgo, a taxa máxima é de 42% e só se aplica acima dos 230 mil euros. Quando os números falam assim, a saudade tem dificuldade em ganhar.  E para receber o quê em troca? Listas de espera no SNS. Escolas degradadas. Uma segurança social que, para quem tem hoje 35 anos e faz as contas, vai devolver cerca de 40% do salário quando chegar a hora de se reformar. Um mercado de trabalho que a OCDE classifica entre os quatro mais rígidos, onde as empresas contratam com medo e os jovens acumulam recibos verdes. Um custo de  habitação que bate recordes todos os anos. Um Estado que contrata cada vez mais, que gasta cada vez mais no seu próprio funcionamento enquanto assistimos à contínua degradação dos serviços públicos.  Enquanto o Presidente da República e o Primeiro-Ministro pediam o regresso, Portugal continuava igual e sem perspectiva de mudar. A reforma laboral está bloqueada. O modelo fiscal intocado. A segurança social sem resposta sobre o futuro. O PS vota contra o que aparece. O Chega é uma força de bloqueio a qualquer mudança. E o Governo, como os anteriores, governa a pensar nas próximas eleições, não nas próximas gerações.  Entretanto, os emigrantes continuam a enviar dinheiro para Portugal. Em 2025, as remessas atingiram 4.388 milhões de euros, um novo recorde, o quinto ano seguido. Esse dinheiro existe porque essas pessoas estão noutros países a ganhar os salários desses países. Se voltassem deixava de existir. O Estado precisa desse dinheiro e, enquanto não se reformar, vai continuar a precisar. É fácil e conveniente pedir o que se sabe que não vai acontecer, num exercício de hipocrisia confrangedor.  Imagino o emigrante português no Luxemburgo que seguiu as notícias desta semana, que ouviu os discursos sobre as raízes e o contributo da diáspora e depois fez as contas ao que ganharia se voltasse, ao que pagaria de renda, ao que receberia na reforma daqui a trinta anos. E não fez as malas.  Não por falta de amor ao país. Por falta de interesse próprio em regressar. Reduzir os impostos sobre o trabalho, flexibilizar o mercado laboral, ser honesto sobre o que a segurança social pode garantir, garantir cuidados de saúde a tempo e horas - nada disto está fora do alcance. Está fora da vontade política de quem construiu o sistema, vive do sistema e sabe que reformá-lo pode custar votos a curto prazo.  Por isso os governantes continuam a ir ao Luxemburgo pedir o regresso, sabendo que eles vão ficar e o Estado agradece.  Mariana Leitão
