Today we played @Kahoot for the first time and they were obsessed. They kept asking to play more.
@SpellieGame has been such a hit during our Wordy Wednesday morning meetings that they have started playing it when they have free time using their Chromebooks.

We enjoy Spellie! (spelliegame.com) it is Wordle for kids. We play together on the SmartBoard. We donโt play every day, but when we do, there are always lots of good discussions about words and word patterns @cedarhollowps @TVDSBLiteracy

Spellie was a great way to get some @HWDSBSummerCamp campers looking at spelling patterns & words. This instructor moved from an easier one to a harder one, and had kids manipulating letters later to build words. This could be done at home too.

Spellie is completely ad-free and is committed to remaining ad-free.
All of our favourite Wordle-clones have added ads recently, and while we respect their ability to monetize their work, we will not be following that trend.
