Buckle up, buttercups. It’s story time. One of my absolute favorite human beings got married yesterday. The significant other and I have basically not left the house in a year except when we moved. Masks and social distancing were promised. I refused to miss this event.

So that’s how the male and I wound up getting delivered to a roadside motel by a waitress we just met in the smallest town I’ve ever seen. And I don’t that’s how he planned the proposal but it was honestly perfect.

Serious question: ordered some stuff in January from a small business in Dallas. Received shipping confirmation on the 13th of February. Package is still in preshipment. 99.9% sure it’s weather related. Don’t want to be a tone deaf Karen so I should just leave it, right?

Got my hair done for the first time in ages thanks to my stylist making house calls and she clamped the flat iron down on my ear and I’m so biologically British that I apologized to her.
