Pedicle substraction osteotomy #PSO is a powerful technique in correcting rigid and severe TL spine deformity. Each osteotomy tool will do the job, but IMO, I found less time, blood loss, and complications with using an ultrasonic bone scalpel. (Disclosure: none)
