Y2 have had a very busy day! In the morning we investigated the edges and faces of 3-d shapes and this afternoon we explored which materials would be best for an umbrella! Lots of great predictions and conjectures were made.

Last Friday we had our Playground Opening Ceremony! Thank you for all who attended and for the amazing fundraising by the Friends of the Spinney!

We are incredibly excited about the playground project, phase 1, coming to end. Opening ceremony of the trim trail is on Friday! Can't wait!

We hosted our Stay and Create sessions for families today and the theme was Outdoor learning! All year groups had different activities to do outside. Thanks for everyone who joined!

Y2 have had a brilliantly busy day working on some new skills. We learned how to use an atlas to locate countries and we then learned how to use ten frames to identify number bonds to 20! We all worked brilliantly in our pairs.

The Spinney postcard design competition has never been this popular! We received 75 designs. That's incredible! We could only choose 8 and the teachers had a tough time choosing. A huge thank you to all the artists! And can't wait to share the final postcards with you!
