One of the most common reasons detractors of Fishback on “our side” give for why we shouldn’t support him is that they believe he’s going to lose, and that this will tank our credibility by being attached to a losing candidate. The problem with this line of thought is that there are multiple likely scenarios where Fishback loses where we come out on top due to our support of him. The main one being a scenario where Fishback gets a significant portion of the vote in the primary, enough to be a serious contender, loses to Byron, and then Byron loses in the general.
We are all already voting blue in the midterms and our message to do so has been increasingly picking up steam. The polling for young White men across the country who were integral to Trump winning in 2024 has shown them swing massively to the Democrats. Additionally, a significant portion of the Republican base will already be staying home regardless due to the apathy and resentment created by the failures of the Trump administration and the general tendency for the incumbent party to have less turnout due to complacency.
Although the election is still far out, the polls that have been made specifically putting Byron Donalds up against David Jolly, the former Republican Democratic contender, show the two within at most ~5-8 points of one another with a Byron lead however with one poll even favoring Jolly. David Jolly specifically as a former Republican turned Democrat appeals more than standard Democratic candidates to independents as well as moderate Republicans. Byron Donalds, on top of being a clearly unimpressive candidate himself, is very much attached at the hip to Trump and the MAGA movement in general and will have his appeal increasingly harmed by this with these demographics due to it. As Trump continues to crash and burn Byron Donalds will be forced to come to his defense during the general election debates in a way Fishback would not.
The recent cancellation of the Republican primary debates by the GOP due to the arbitrary and harsh criteria no candidate but Donalds meets as well as the multiple remarks and posts by DeSantis decrying this decision (this has some ulterior motive: See the Benni and Basil Show) as corrupt and an attempt at influencing the election is creating a (True) popular narrative that the GOP is rigging the election. Fishback has already stated he would not support Donalds if he won the primary, and if there is a common sentiment among his supporters and even Republicans who aren’t his supporters that the election is rigged, you could see a significant increase in protest abstention or voting from this alone.
Because certain people are not actually intelligent thinkers, they are incapable of seeing more than one step into the future. They imagine Fishback losing and Laura Loomer and Max Nordau mocking us on X and then freak out over our potential “aura loss 🥀”. What they do not see is the ability for us to create and popularize the following narrative and reality:
Fishback is being suppressed by the Republican Party in a case of blatant election manipulation on behalf of special interests and the establishment GOP and Byron is being crowned just like Kamala was. If Fishback loses the primary but still gets a significant portion of the vote it will show that he had actual popular grass roots support and would have won had the debates been held. Because of this, the corrupt Byron Donalds must be made to lose at all costs in favor of the moderate former Republican Democrat. If Byron loses, it is proof that the governorship of Florida would have been won by Republicans under our America First vision, and not MAGA’s. We are the future and you will not win without us being in charge.
The Florida GOP is now openly rigging the gubernatorial primary against James Fishback.
If the GOP is going to sabotage every America First candidate like Thomas Massie & now Fishback, then they deserve to be totally destroyed in 2026.
Party of traitors & controlled opposition.
