Our amazing staff and volunteers at Manito have been busy planting Duncan Garden with approximately 30,000 annuals! Visitors can look forward to seeing lilies, dahlias, snapdragons, petunias, zinnias, cosmos, geraniums, salvia, rudbeckia, phlox, and more this season, with peak bloom expected in July!

Join us this Thursday as Mayor Brown and the Park Board honor the Six Bridges Arts Association and their incredible staff and volunteers for 44 years of service to our community presenting Pig Out in the Park! We invite you to celebrate their dedication with us: May 14 at 3:30 p.m. at City Council Chambers in City Hall. And as a special tribute, the Gesa Pavilion will be lit pink that evening in their honor. 💗 We hope to see you there!

A new shuttle service, Riverfront Park Connect, and urban zipline are coming to downtown Spokane, courtesy of Mica Moon Zip Tours. What’s that smell?? It’s the Voodoo Lily in full bloom at the Gaiser Conservatory in Manito Park! Voodoo Lily’s (Amorphophallus) have a notoriously foul smell, often described as rotting flesh or spoiled meat, designed to attract pollinators like flies and beetles. This flower only blooms for a few days so swing by the conservatory and give it a whiff, if you dare. 💀
