About last Friday....
FIRST HEADLINE TOUR WAS A HUGE SUCCESS β
quick story:
i had no idea what to expect on my first headline tour. the last few years have been life-changing (and its all thanks to you). i went from working a radio job after college and releasing music on soundcloud, getting some opening slots on a tour (ty atliens), to landing some amazing festival and support slots, and finally, to quitting my job a few months ago and hitting the road for my very first headline tour.
this journey has had its highs and lows. long travel days & zero-hour sleep nights lol. we sold out a bunch of shows, and we also had a few that didnt do as well. thats all part of the journey. music is a grind. looking back, this has been one of the most stressful yet rewarding experiences of my life. i spent an hour the other day just venting with my manager about how tough its been but also how worthwhile it was. it wouldnt be the crybaby tour without getting in a good cry over the phone
during the toughest days ive been reminding myself that everything worth doing is hard.
three years ago, my manager andrew and i started working together towards this very moment, believing in what we could achieveβand we did so much more. (ily andrew)
playing for and meeting so many of you has been a literal dream come true. from the bottom of my heart, thank you for coming out to these shows.
after 8 years of grinding at cyclops to finally be able to do this. βgratefulβ doesnβt even begin to cover it.
these have been some of the coolest and most memorable shows of my career
The Crybaby Tour will always hold a special place in my heart
i love you all so much.
one more date to go: Lost Lands
see you there βοΈ
