Retirement doesn't mean slowing down—it means having the freedom to keep doing what you love. Yesterday, the Spooner team joined a group of first responders preparing for retirement at an event hosted by Serving First Responders. Spooner Physical Therapists Torrey Foster and Keith Butler discussed the powerful impact movement can have on longevity, cardiovascular health, mental well-being, and overall quality of life. The conversation focused on practical ways retirees can stay healthy, independent, and engaged in the activities they enjoy most. Thank you to Serving First Responders for the opportunity to be part of this important conversation and for their ongoing commitment to supporting first responders as they transition into retirement. #FirstResponders #RetirementWellness #HealthyAging #Longevity #MovementIsMedicine #Spooner

What an incredible day at Ability360! We were honored to join Encompass Health for an amputee running clinic where attendees had the opportunity to test prosthetics, learn about the latest technology, and connect with experts dedicated to helping them stay active. Our Spooner team was onsite providing movement advice, answering questions, and supporting participants throughout the day. Thank you to Encompass Health and Ability360 for creating such a meaningful event and for helping empower individuals through access, education, and movement. We’re grateful to have been a small part of such an inspiring day. #Spooner #Ability360 #EncompassHealth #AdaptiveAthletes #AmputeeRunning #Prosthetics #MovementMatters #PhysicalTherapy

Love pickleball. Hate elbow pain. If your elbow aches after playing, don't ignore it. The sooner you address the problem, the easier it is to stay on the court and avoid a longer recovery. Last night was another great Student Learning Night at Spooner. What made this one especially fun? Our founder, Tim Spooner, jumped in alongside Joe Escobedo to help lead the evening's hands-on lab. Seeing students learn directly from clinicians and leaders who are passionate about their craft is a reminder of what makes our profession—and our culture—so special. The session focused on building confidence with hip and knee mobilizations and manipulations through clinical discussion and plenty of hands-on practice. Thank you to everyone who joined us and continues to make these evenings such a valuable learning experience. #StudentLearning #PhysicalTherapy #ClinicalEducation #ManualTherapy #FutureClinicians

June is Hand Therapy Month, and we're celebrating the Spooner experts behind upper extremity rehabilitation. A hand therapist isn't just a specialist for the hand. They are highly trained clinicians who evaluate and treat conditions affecting the entire upper extremity—from the shoulder to the fingertips. Pain. Injury. Surgery. Nerve conditions. Arthritis. Recovery after fractures. Hand therapists help people regain function, restore independence, and get back to doing what they love. Meet Tara and discover what makes hand therapy such a unique specialty. #HandTherapyMonth #UpperExtremityRehab #HandTherapy #OccupationalTherapy #Spooner
