NFPA 1850 is the standard on selection, care and maintenance of firefighter protective gear, including our self contained breathing apparatus (SCBA).

A quick thinking neighbor stops a kitchen fire from spreading in the Serena Woods Apartments on Hirschfield Road this afternoon. Thankfully there were no injuries. Always stay in the kitchen when cooking on a stove top. Unattended hot pots are a leading cause of residential fires and injuries.
