Front of queue, we admire classic old Morris Minor parked nearby. Husband says is 4 years newer than his first car. We go quiet as we contemplate how depressing that is.
I had a vegan breakfast. Rosti, paprika aubergine, spinach, baked beans and toast. I decided against asking if I can swap the baked beans for some bacon, or an egg.
She wanted to go to bed but wonāt take herself to her crate, she waits for me to tell her. Itās half an hour early so she sat in my eye line and made grumbling noises under her breath to tell me sheās ready. Pain in the ars* or enchanting little scruff bucket? š«¤š #Dogs
Tea and cake in a seventeenth century tea shop. The cake was so dry I think it may be contemporary with the building. Nearly asked if theyād found it under the floorboards.
Thought you might like to cool off today. I quite fancy grabbing a handful of snow and rubbing all over my face right now. But not from the post box, it looks angry enough.

Iām sitting beneath a tree bumblebee nest in my birdbox. The drones buzz about outside until itās their time to pop inside & mate the queen. Iāve had four dead or very knackered ones fall on me as I sit here (theyāre harmless). Apparently they die shortly after mating. Odd life.

I sat on a tussock and wondered where all the bunny rabbits have gone. Impossible to sit on a tussock a few years ago without sitting on dried rabbit droppings. Not anymore. Where have all the bunnys gone? š¤š°š«
