Mid-Atlantic Girls Basketball Showcase Highland Springs High School – Highland Springs, VA January 2–3, 2026 Get ready for one of the premier girls’ basketball events on the East Coast! The Mid-Atlantic Girls Basketball Showcase brings together top high school programs for two days of elite competition, exposure, and opportunity.

Media Requests – Important Information All media requests must be submitted to hldaniel@henrico.k12.va.us. This is a VHSL State Event, and media access is limited, especially for photography. Please be aware that not all requests may be approved. All media outlets will receive a response regarding their request by Thursday, December 4th at Noon. All approved media must check in at the front gate upon arrival to receive their VHSL media badges. At the conclusion of the game, all badges must be returned to Coach Daniel or Coach Perry of Highland Springs High School.

Highland Springs Athletics Announcement ​ Highland Springs Athletics is proud to announce that Coaches Alexandria and Maurice Davis will serve as Head Coaches for the 2025–2026 Indoor and Outdoor Track & Field seasons. Both graduates of Virginia State University, Maurice and Alex Davis bring a combined eight years of coaching experience to the program. They are deeply committed to developing athletes both on and off the track, emphasizing discipline, teamwork, and character growth. Together, they foster a positive, competitive, and supportive environment that empowers athletes to reach their full potential while cultivating a lasting love for the sport.

The Springers will face the four-time reigning State Champion Phoebus at Darling Stadium on Thursday, October 2nd, in a rematch from last season when Phoebus defeated the Springers at HSHS.
