This afternoon we had a visit from ProRide who taught the children how to ride balance bikes with increasing skill and speed. The children thoroughly enjoyed it and showed great perseverance, control and balance throughout the session.

We've been carrying out a lot of science investigations in 5CL over the last half term. Our results haven't always been what we've expected but we've learnt a lot and had a lot of fun doing so.

This half term, all 5CL children have enjoyed preparing and leading collective worship in class. Each one was based around a parable and each one gave us a special message for going forth. ππΌππΌππΌ

Bikeability last week was great! All nonriders learnt to ride, many children achieved their Level 1 and some their Level 2 'On the Road' awards.

5CL led the whole school in a lovely assembly/Act of Worship about Inspirational People and how to be a follower of Jesus. ππΌThey only had one practice so I'm very proud of them!πππ One grandma was nearly brought to tears π

On Friday we took some children to @TrinityLeeds to sing carols, spreading seasonal cheer across the city. ππ

We have continued our βSymmetry Balance Travelβ learning theme in 5SS this morning. Weβve been exploring different jumps and rolls ready to put into our sequences to help us link our shapes and balances together. We just love our Monday morning PE!
