On Fri, June 5, 2025, St. Bernard resident Dorothy Taquino's was laid to rest at the St. Bernard Cemetery. After perishing in Hurricane Katrina, Dorothy remained unidentified & was buried at the Hurricane Katrina Memorial in New Orleans among those who went unidentified.
