After essentially being on a house arrest due to rotator cuff surgery, I realized that there truly isn’t a great reason why I need to leave my dog just to go into the office for 9 hours a day. With that said, I have found a new job.

I’m at the age where going out doesn’t excite me anymore. You know what does excite me? Gardening. Take me to garden store and let me just touch all the little plants while I ask them if they want to be my friend.

As I’ve gotten older afternoon coffee has become my favorite drink. Not because I like the taste, but because afterwards there’s about 30mins where I have a sliver of energy and hope.
