It was so good to see so many people at our agape bring and share meal yesterday! Thank you to everyone that came and all the lovely food your brought!
Here’s one of the prayers from the service:
ALT Go now, as the beloved of God,
sent in peace and in pairs,
to proclaim that the kin-dom of God has come near—
through justice, through healing, through love.
May you carry with you the courage to speak truth,
the grace to receive hospitality,
and the strength to shake off rejection without shame.
You are not alone.
You are not an afterthought.
You are called, blessed, and sent—
just as you are.
And may the Spirit go before you,
Christ walk beside you,
and the Creator embrace you always
