This year, St Christopherβs was proud to take part in the judging process for a national book award, The Carnegies, with Year 9 pupils Ella-Mae E and Isabel B representing the school on the judging panel. π

After reading, reviewing & discussing the shortlisted titles, Ella-Mae & Isabel selected Wolf Siren by Beth O'Brien as their favourite book. π
Miss Holman submitted their official vote on the 5th June, the countdown is on until the winner is announced on the 23rd June! π

A fantastic morning in Accrington as @BBCLancashire visited the town for their #MakeADifference campaign! π #VolunteersWeek
Hosted at Accrington Train Station, home of the 2025 Community Group Award winners, Stations of Welcome, the event brought together inspiring local organisations including Maundy Relief, PROSPECTS Foundation and Clayton Amateur Boxing Club.

We are incredibly proud of Tom N (YR10), who completed the Great Manchester Run 10K last Sunday in an impressive 52 mins! πββοΈπ
Tom has been raising money for @TheChristie, which is very close to his family's heart, and his determination to this challenge has been inspiring.
