Today we learned about Jesusโ sacrifice and the meaning of Good Friday โ๏ธ We explored how it is celebrated around the world, including El Salvador where people create alfombras; beautiful carpets made from coloured materials to honour Jesus. We then created our own outside. ๐

In RE today we learned about The Last Supper. The children acted out the story, sharing real bread and wine (juice) just like Jesus and the disciples. We reflected on how the disciples and Jesus might have felt during this important moment in the Easter story. โ๏ธ

In Gathering in Prayer, we listened to the story of Jesus healing the blind man. We reflected on how Jesus heals and helps people, and thought about who makes us feel better when we are sad or hurt. A special thank you to Lilia and Esme for leading our prayer so thoughtfully. ๐
