Year 4 have been creating prototype keyrings with play dough, for their friends in DT this week. Next lesson, they will make their final product using clay.
For their transport topic, Nursery have been learning about bikes and scooters. They had a special treat today seeing Mrs Jamieson's fold up bike and reading the story 'Mrs Armitage on Wheels'.
Lots of fun and excitement in Reception last week as we launched our new topic ‘Fabulous Farms’. We had a visit from all the animals at #basilandcrewfarm and the children thoroughly enjoyed feeding, grooming and petting a variety of farm animals!
A fun week for Year 6's with trips to Bushy Park for den building and at Hounslow Urban Farm feeding sheep, goats and alpacas. An animal encounter this morning showed them off to be so brave handling snakes, lizards, and a giant African land snail among other things.
The Nursery children have had so much fun learning about rhyme in the past two weeks. We read Julia Donaldson’s Room on the Broom and the children used ‘my turn, your turn’ and wands to hear and find the rhymes.
What an amazing morning exploring Quarr Abbey! The children loved seeing red squirrels and learning the history of the Abbey. The morning finished with reflection and prayer.
