Get ready for some rootin’-tootin’ fun at Toy Story Time as we celebrate the release of Toy Story 5! Kids are encouraged to bring their favorite toy. Families can also opt into a “Toy Story Sleepover,” where children may leave their toy overnight at the Reserve Branch.

All branches of St. John the Baptist Parish Library will be closed on Friday, June 19th in observance of the Juneteenth holiday. We will reopen at normal operating hours on Saturday, June 20th.

Ensemble theatre company "Goat in the Road Productions" will visit the Leroy D. Williams Library in Reserve on June 15th to share the art of theatre with the whole family! Enjoy a showcase of hilarious student-written plays.

Visit the Reserve Branch every Wednesday at 10 AM to enjoy low-impact fitness activities. We follow along various videos focusing on topics such as walking, sitter-cise, line dancing, and strength exercises. Participants assume responsibility for any potential risks.
During the "Roots & Heritage" week of our Summer Reading Program, we're taking a closer look at some of the folk tales that have taken root in our region with licensed tour guide Theron Oubre and Louisiana's River Parishes Tourist Commission.

Storytime introduces the love of reading to early learners. This is a perfect time for young children and their parents or caretakers to interact in a comfortable setting. Join us weekly at the LaPlace, Reserve, and Garyville branches!

Next week: Children will enjoy having their grown up trace an outline of their body to form the shape of their family tree. Use crayons and dot markers to draw family members and add leaves to your tree! Kids will also listen to a story about families.

It's Movie Night at the Reserve Library for the whole family! We'll enjoy a night out watching a classic ("Honey, I Shrunk the Kids") in collaboration with St. John Theatre. Before the movie starts, we'll have a 30-minute shrinky dink activity for kids, starting at 5 p.m.
