Our vision team have been to visit our neighbours at Wykeham Chase today and the children were brilliant and enjoyed Easter crafts, colouring and games with the residents.

The Explore group have been learning all about the Easter story. We made some beautiful Easter gardens today.

Our vision team led a wonderful bake sale to raise money for environmental charities this week. Well done to everyone for your hard work.

Our Y5s have been learning all about fire safety this morning with a visit from our local fire team. They had a presentation, a Q&A and saw the fire engine and smoke tent up close.

Our local MP, Tim Roca, visited us today for a tour of the school and a good chat. The children gave him a tour of the classrooms and the outdoors including our woodland.

We had a wonderful visit from a hedgehog this week as part of our non-fiction English work in KS1. The children have written some amazing reports!

This week the Y3 & Y4 children have been exploring the work of the artist Georgia O'Keeffe.  We have loved using magnifying lenses and viewfinders to look really closely at leaves and flowers before creating our own masterpieces!

We had a fantastic trip yesterday to the theatre to watch Sleeping Beauty. The children (and adults!) had a great time. We are very proud of our children's behaviour during the trip too. Well done everyone!

Park Lane school and ourselves have been working together to promote integration between mainstream and special schools. We have been to visit their wonderful school and we welcomed them to our nativity performance recently. The children were all brilliant.
