We (you and I) can make our world a more kind, more just, more loving place. No need to wait for someone else to get the ball rolling. We can make a difference.

Great work, @StStephenKW! A fun witness to your neighbours. #myelcic
And that's it. With some newly installed armor stone to rest on, labyrinth construction is complete.

Thank you Kimiko. Even the building of it, which was slow and methodical, helped bring us some peace.
I had the opportunity to walk the labyrinth at @StStephenKW tonight. Thank you to the volunteers who worked so hard to allow others to find some peace in the middle of the noise.

And there it is. We have finished constructing the #labyrinth at the corner of Highland and Stirling in Kitchener. It is free for anyone to use. Soon there will be a pamphlet in the little library with some thoughts on how to labyrinth.

We are so close to finishing building the #labyrinth that we can almost taste it. Two more lines need to be finished in the front left quarter.

Having spent a lot of time building this #labyrinth, we've seen that you can pause to reflect despite (or because of?) the traffic around it. You can find peace in the middle of the noise.

I put Little Buddy into our new little library at Highland and Stirling this afternoon, and they were gone a couple of hours later. Luckily, Little Buddy has lots of siblings, so there will be more stuffies popped into the little library as time goes on.

We made some more progress on the far lefty, but then had to pause again. Today we head back to Elmira to pick up another donation of sand to go under the paving stones, and we can get back at it. Hopefully the #labyrinth will be completed within a week.

Not only did we make some progress in building the #labyrinth, but our little library was installed. Thanks to David for making it, We only have a few children's books in there so far, but the first book was taken out within ten minutes of going in. We call that a success

It is hard to see the back of the #labyrinth from this angle. I should get a ladder to take these pictures as it grows, but that would take effort. So I stand on an overturned 5 gallon bucket. The inner five rows of stones have now been installed.

We have completed the north half (the half on the right) of our #labyrinth.

Today's #labyrinth progress is at the back again, and hard to see in the picture. so I am including a close-up. Two lines on the labyrinth met but were 3mm too close. We had to move a good number of bricks out a few mm to increase the diameter of the outer ring.

It is hard to see today's progress in building the #labyrinth because it is on the far side. Yesterday we finished the northeast quadrant, and today we extended the outer ring almost around the northwest quadrant.

A friend that we know from Interfaith Grand River (@Interfaith_Chat) stopped by and helped build the #labyrinth today. He offered his muscles and his knowledge (he used to work in landscaping). Thanks Father Toby @Fr_Toby

In one little part, we have finally reached the outside edge, as we build our #labyrinth.

The farther we get from the middle of the #labyrinth, the larger the circles get. We have always understood that in theory, but it turns out that there is a significant difference between the number of paving stones needed to make an inner ring and an outer ring

The newly laid stones in our #labyrinth will be clearer when the rain washes them clean. Today we had surprise help when a neighbour walked over and offered to help. That made the work progress faster than expected, and let us get home for lunch on time.

I forgot to send out yesterday's picture showing the growth of our #labyrinth. The trenches continue to grow. Good news! The sand has arrived, so we can start laying down the paving stones again.
