Please remember that photos on Twitter don’t stay on their forever. You can download and save them. Many previous parents have said they have made memory books for their children and they are glad they did as the children love looking back at their time away.

We are just arriving at Calais. At a guess we will be arriving in Dover around 11 UK time. We will have plenty of time here now to relax for a bit.

INFORMATION
All passports, GHIC cards and medication can be collected from the school office from Monday morning. If you need to collect daily medication please ask a teacher when we arrive off the bus in the morning.

When we arrive any help unloading the hold would be appreciated. It’s easier just to take all of the cases off first, move them out of the way, then when this is done, it’s easy to get your child’s case.

Will be able to give a predicted arrival time when we get to Dover. It may change with roadworks etc - it is just a prediction. When we get back please be patient as we will have to wake children and it takes a while to gather their belongings as they will be tired. Thank you

Heading through France . Not that far from Calais. We will probably be early forthe ferry so will have time at the ferry terminal to relax.

On behalf of the staff: thank you for letting us spend time with such lovely children. You should be very proud of the people they are becoming. We are. We have thoroughly enjoyed their company and we all hope they have happy memories to take with them.

A big thank you to the staff who came here this week. If they don’t volunteer to come, there is no trip- it’s as simple as that. They have been amazing caring for your children. We are very grateful to all at school who have to work incredibly hard there while we are away.
